Information about the actual processing of personal data on the static Dexsolutions Games website.

1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing on this website is Björn Peters, Dexsolutions, Münsterstraße 419, 45721 Haltern am See, Germany. Contact: info@dexsolutions.de.
2. General information and legal bases
Personal data is processed only where necessary to deliver the website securely, handle contact initiated by you, or load external media that you explicitly activate.
Depending on the operation, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for a secure and functional website, or Article 6(1)(a) GDPR when you deliberately activate external content. Consent may be withdrawn for the future.
3. Hosting, encryption and server logs
This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When it is requested, technically necessary connection data may be processed. This can include the IP address, access time, requested file, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating system.
Transmission between your browser and this website is encrypted using HTTPS. Processing serves secure, fast and technically reliable delivery on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is processed according to the retention periods applicable to the service or only as long as necessary for operation, security and error analysis.
4. Contact, Turnstile and email delivery
When you contact us through the form or by email, we process your name, email address, subject, message, language, time and technically necessary connection data solely to handle the enquiry and possible follow-up questions. This does not subscribe you to a newsletter and no automatic reply is sent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
The form is processed server-side by a Cloudflare Pages Function. Cloudflare Turnstile checks, as a necessary security measure, whether a request is automated; the Turnstile token and technically necessary connection and browser data are transmitted to Cloudflare for this purpose. The check protects the form against spam and abuse on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use Brevo’s Transactional Email API for delivery. Brevo receives the form data to the extent required to deliver the message to info@dexsolutions.de. The website does not store the data permanently. Enquiries and emails are deleted when their handling purpose no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate evidentiary interests require further retention. The providers’ documented periods apply to technical data.
6. Steam links and Steam widgets
The website contains links to the Steam Store. Following such a link takes you away from this website, after which Valve’s processing applies.
Steam widgets do not load automatically. Only after the button is activated is a connection made to store.steampowered.com. Valve may then receive the IP address, device and browser information and access time. If a user is signed in to Steam, Valve may be able to associate the visit with that account. Processing outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Recipients are limited to providers required for the relevant operation: Cloudflare for hosting, the Pages Function and Turnstile; Brevo for transactional email delivery; and providers whose optional external content you expressly load. Dexsolutions does not disclose personal data for advertising purposes.
Processing by Cloudflare or Brevo and the activation of external Steam content may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. Details about processing locations, safeguards and data-subject rights are provided in each provider’s privacy information.
8. Retention
Personal data is deleted once its purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligation or legitimate security interest requires continued retention. External providers apply their own retention periods.
9. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the future at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
To exercise your rights, contact info@dexsolutions.de. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for the location of Dexsolutions is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
10. No additional tracking services
The website uses no analytics platform, newsletter, tracking pixel, map embed, service worker, error-analysis or monitoring service, or social-media embed. Cloudflare Turnstile loads only on contact pages as a security service and is not used for statistics or marketing.
