Information about the actual processing of personal data on the static Dexsolutions Games website.

This English version is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the German privacy policy is authoritative.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing on this website is Björn Peters, Dexsolutions, Münsterstraße 419, 45721 Haltern am See, Germany. Contact: info@dexsolutions.de.
2. General information and legal bases
Personal data is processed only where necessary to deliver the website securely, handle contact initiated by you, or load external media that you explicitly activate.
Depending on the operation, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for a secure and functional website, or Article 6(1)(a) GDPR when you deliberately activate external content. Consent may be withdrawn for the future.
3. Hosting and server logs
When the website is requested, the hosting service may process technically necessary connection data. This can include the IP address, access time, requested file, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating system.
Processing serves secure and technically reliable delivery. Log data is retained only as long as necessary for operation, security and error analysis. The production hosting provider has not yet been selected for this project version and must be added and legally reviewed before publication.
4. Contact
If you contact us by email, the information you provide is processed to handle your request and possible follow-up questions. Retention depends on the purpose of the request and statutory retention duties.
The contact form shown on the website is currently a local demonstration. It has no form backend, sends no message and transmits no entered data to Dexsolutions or any third party.
6. Steam links and Steam widgets
The website contains links to the Steam Store. Following such a link takes you away from this website, after which Valve’s processing applies.
Steam widgets do not load automatically. Only after the button is activated is a connection made to store.steampowered.com. Valve may then receive the IP address, device and browser information and access time. If a user is signed in to Steam, Valve may be able to associate the visit with that account. Processing outside the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out.
7. Recipients and international transfers
Recipients are limited to technical or communication providers required for the relevant operation and providers whose external content you expressly load. Dexsolutions does not disclose personal data for advertising purposes.
Activating external Steam content may involve a transfer to a third country. Details are provided in the respective provider’s privacy information.
8. Retention
Personal data is deleted once its purpose no longer applies and no statutory retention obligation or legitimate security interest requires continued retention. External providers apply their own retention periods.
9. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the future at any time.

10. No additional tracking services
The current public project version uses no analytics platform, newsletter, captcha, tracking pixel, map embed, service worker, error-analysis or monitoring service, or social-media embed.
