Popcorn, nachos and mixtures under system testing

Automated checks cover mixing, spills, product tolerances, popcorn configurations and nacho sauce variants.

The concession counter is a central part of a Chaos Cinema shift. To make popcorn, nachos and further preparation steps work together reliably, the underlying rules are checked through automation as well as visual development.

What the tests cover

The current test bench confirms ingredient mixing, spills and dilution together with defined product tolerance bands. Further passing checks cover the active popcorn configuration, visual progression for different flavour states and the intended nacho sauce meshes.

Why isolated system tests matter

Several states meet in hands-on first-person operation: ingredient quantity, containers, visible progress and the accepted quality of the finished product. Automated coverage helps keep these rules stable while controls and presentation continue to evolve.

The practical shift test still matters

The passing checks confirm the tested rules and configurations. They do not replace a complete manual pass at every machine. Real filling and operation inside a full packaged demo day therefore remain part of the next playtest.
