The demo foundation reaches manual playtesting

Builds, Blueprint compilation and automated customer flows are confirmed. The next test is a complete hands-on day in the packaged demo.

Chaos Cinema has reached an important technical checkpoint: the current demo foundation is ready for a complete manual shipping playtest. This is not a public release approval, but it moves the project from isolated system checks toward a connected playable day.

What has been confirmed technically

The Editor, FullGame and Demo Development targets built successfully. The demo package completed Build, Cook and Pak, while a full Blueprint and widget compilation reported no errors or warnings. Required cook assets and soft references were also checked without missing packages.

Which flows have already been tested

An automated first-customer flow reached the seat, film, review and exit stages. Another run covered ten consecutive small groups: both members were seated in every iteration and the group then left the cinema. Success required complete navigation paths; moving a customer directly onto a seat explicitly did not count as a pass.

What still needs to happen

The status deliberately remains “ready for manual shipping playtest”, not “release ready”. Open work includes a complete hands-on demo day in the packaged build, real input and transport chains, a clean save/restart/load test and several UI and edge-case scenarios. Those playtests must prove that the individually verified systems also work reliably as one complete shift.
