How customer groups find their way through the cinema

Ten consecutive group tests connect complete navigation paths, shared seating and an orderly exit from the cinema.

A visitor in Chaos Cinema has to do more than travel from a door to a seat. Groups should remain together, receive valid seats, reach the auditorium through real navigation paths and leave the building again after the showing.

A disconnected navigation island

An earlier test revealed that the authored lobby exit point sat on a navigation island disconnected from the auditorium entrance. The revised logic therefore searches in a ring for a projected point with a genuinely complete path to the hall. Required routes also wait for the runtime NavMesh to become ready instead of treating an unfinished rebuild as a final failure.

Ten groups in sequence

The final automation run executed ten Small Group iterations in one process. Both group members were logged as seated in all ten iterations, after which the group reached the exit. The run reported no highest-level recovery step. Teleporting a customer onto a seat was not accepted as success.

Not the end of testing

These results confirm the tested small-group case, not every possible auditorium condition. A partially blocked or completely full hall and further edge cases still need hands-on testing. This remains a development update rather than a claim that every customer situation is finished.
